Animax Carnival 2012

This was the first ever cosplay anime event organized by Animax, and as usual many people visited it and the organizer  of the event manage it pretty poorly which came to a surprise for us, as Astro is well-known for organizing large scale great events .Perhaps, due to high visitors and participants, and many of them started to get unrest as the event started late and the queue was long, some of them have to queue for 3 hours or even more !

The main reason this happened is because the organizer did not make a good planning, they should expected that there will be a huge turnout and the counter could have open at 10 am and allow the visitors to collect the ticket then only officially starts the event by 12 pm sharp! The process of having to let them veryfying the astro bill and assigning wrist band to each of the visitor was just too slow that caused such a long queue. We are also pretty surprise to know that there are no event activities, when we went to the receptionist for queries on the event's activities ,non of them able to answer to our queries. 

Furthermore, there seem to be lack of publicity for this event, many of the shop promoters and shoppers got no clue that there will be an anime event held on 1Utama, some of them even gave us some funny POKER face when we asked them about the event, fortunately many of them manage to know about it when they saw many Cosplayers walking around the shopping mall.

When came to the costume competition, we realizes that there were communication barriers between the organizer and the participants. Why say so? because we manage to notice that certain participant
face reaction shown that they were nervous and awkward and its pretty obvious that they do not prepare to answer those ad hoc questions in English that were conducted by the emcee (Master of Ceremony) , this has proven that they did not being sensitive on some perticipants who were not well verse in English. 

The cosplay competition was won by Fara and her partner Yuan Corss who cosplayed the Golden Witch Beatrice and Ushiromiya Battler, they won a total USD 250. Xiajin Jian manage to won the second place while Ayumi Goh came in third. 

*What a Yummy Rocky you got there ;) 

Conclusion, we truly believe that because it was the first time that Animax held such event especially in Malaysia, therefore, the organizer were somehow lack of experience and expertise to handle the event effectively. 

We are expecting that Animax will hold more of such events in future , especially in Malaysia. (More for more cosplay pictures)

Super Robot Wars will be in PSVita

Namco Bandai have confirmed that they are working on Super Robot Wars series for the PlayStation Vita. Besides that, Takenobu Terada which is the Series producer has appeared in a four-minute video of the Sony campaign, and made a few mentions of the Vita title. The video was released by Sony as part of their PlayStation Vita Game Heaven video seris.

Jihl Nabaat joins Final Fantasy XIII-2 via DLC

It was a rumour on Jihl Nabaat appear as download content in Final Fantasy XIII-2 , but now it was confirmed that Jihl Nabaat will appear as download content on 13th of March ! It is priced at 300yen (RM 11.21) 

However, there are no details on the pricing and release date for non Japan's market, but we believe that Square Enix will make official annoucement later this week. Rumours spread that Jihl appear as a character in the Coliseum, and it seems that rumours was correct. 

Furthermore, Square Enix has released today on new downloadable weapons for the game. You can get Calamity Blade(Noel), the Genji Bow (Serah) and Muramasa(Noel) at 100 yen (RM 3.74) each. 

The second season of Fate/Zero will be release on 7th of April

Nothing much to say. The second season of Fate/Zero will premiere on 7th of April in Tokyo MX, MBS and other television stations. 

The first season of 13 episodes aired from October to December last year. The second season will start from episodes 14.
